Interested in Birds?
Well if you couldn’t make Friday’s flower walk perhaps you’d like to join us on Tuesday (20th) for an evening bird walk.
Our local bird specialist, Heather Coats, will be taking a stroll up the Community Forest identifying bird calls on the way till we get to the Nightjar territory at dusk to hear and possibly see these rare birds that are in residence.
Please note this may not be appropriate for most children as we won’t be back till nearly 11.00pm and they need to be quiet on the walk.
Meet at the Badger’s Gate at 8.45 pm. Bring a torch and suitable footwear, insect repellant and cover up clothes etc as there may be midges.

Crynant Community Council would like to invite you to take part in celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Segadelli’s through the contribution to a Memory Book that will be given to Stella at the close of the year.
The Memory Book can accept images, short and long text, and can even contain a list of your top 3, 5, 10, or more, sweets, memories, and people. We’d encourage everyone to contribute as much and kindly as possible, and if you can help this Memory Book travel to other users or customers, please feel free to use the ‘share’ buttons below or direct people to the link itself.
Public Statement
Following the passing of our late Sovereign HRH The Duke of Edinburgh our sadness at this time is shared by people across the globe. We remember him with affection and gratitude for the lifetime of service he gave.
Prince Phillip supported Queen Elizabeth the Second whilst she led this country through many difficult times, and he did so with humility and compassion.
May he rest in peace.
Floral tributes
The public may wish to lay flowers at NPTCBC Civic Centers. This should be treated with care and respect.

For all of our wonderful walkers who wish to undertake the Moongazer Hare challenge, we’ve just installed a new picnic bench for giving those hard-working legs a well-deserved rest.
We’ve also added a new information panel at the Beaconsview bench. This is a specially positioned panel that provides information on the landmarks that you can see.
